Dental assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dynamic team. The EFDA will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dental care by performing both standard and expanded dental assisting duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
Place and contour dental restorations, including amalgam and composite fillings.
Take and pour dental impressions for study models and prosthetic appliances.
Apply dental sealants and fluoride treatments as directed by the dentist.
Perform coronal polishing to remove stains and soft deposits from teeth.
Remove excess cement from crowns, bridges, bands, or brackets.
Fabricate and temporarily cement provisional crowns and bridges.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and postoperative care instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment notes.
Ensure compliance with all OSHA and dental board regulations regarding infection control and safety.
Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.

part-time $30 - $40 per hour

We are offering a part-time position with a competitive hourly wage. Please note that this role does not include additional benefits. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking flexible work hours and valuable experience in the dental field.

Work Hours: Monday and Wednesday, 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Flexibility: Part-time position with potential for flexible hours for the ideal candidate.

Minimum of one year of experience as a Dental Assistant with EFDA certification.
