The strongest candidate will be consistent, encouraging, active, and able to build trust over time.You May Spend Your ShiftParticipating in taking a 21-year-old moderately functioning individual with autism and ADHD to clubs and engaging with him there in various activities.Coaching daily living, communication, social, and independence skills.Helping establish positive routines and work toward individualized goals.Modeling problem-solving, appropriate communication, and healthy community participation.Supporting decision-making, self-advocacy, and confidence.Providing companionship and a consistent mentoring relationship.Maintaining safety and following individualized support instructions.Completing required documentation and staying in close communication with the Kindly team.QualificationsDependable, engaging, patient, and able to build rapport.Experience in mentoring, coaching, education, recreation, behavioral health, human services, disability support, or caregiving is a plus.Able to commit reliably to the exact schedule posted below.Driving required.Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.Schedule: Tues, Thurs. 2:30-6:30, Weekends flexible.
