Growing Milwaukee firm looking to add a talented Lighting Designer/Engineer to their team! We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Lighting Designer/Engineer role for a growing Milwaukee client! Lighting Design is an integral part of the project's overall finished appearance and success. The successful candidate will have an evident passion for light as the design medium and be comfortable working in a fast paced project environment on multiple concurrent projects. Strength in aesthetic conviction but maintaining flexibility to work within design constraints is important. Job Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the management of project design and documentation
• Work with engineer and interiors design teams to develop the appropriate lighting design.
• Perform illumination and energy calculations.
• Oversee layout documentation, create luminaire schedules and cut sheets.
• Write project lighting specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate lighting equipment.
• Perform construction administration duties including submittal reviews, lighting punch lists and aiming and adjusting installed luminaires.

Training and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S) in Lighting Design, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3 or more years of experience in lighting design.
• Computer skills: AGI32 or Visual, AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, Revit and Photoshop rendering experience is desirable.
