This role is essential in safeguarding our people, property, and critical infrastructure within a high-volume manufacturing and data center environment.As a Security Specialist, you will play a key role in executing security programs, maintaining operational readiness, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of site security. This position is ideal for proactive professionals with strong operational experience, sound judgment, and a commitment to accountability and excellence.Position will provide coverage for either AM or PM shifts, ensuring continuous support of security operations across the facility. Candidates must be flexible and capable of working assigned shifts based on operational needs while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and security awareness.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and execute physical security programs to protect company personnel, assets, and operationsMonitor and maintain security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control platformsEnforce site access control procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsConduct routine patrols, inspections, and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actionsAssist with incident response, investigations, and documentation of security-related eventsCollaborate with contract security personnel to ensure post orders and procedures are followed consistentlyPartner with internal departments (e.g., HR, Operations, EHS) on sensitive or high-priority mattersContribute to emergency preparedness and response efforts, including participation in crisis management activitiesPromote a strong security and safety culture through awareness and compliance initiativesSupport site projects by reviewing security requirements and recommending appropriate protective measuresQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant security experience, or5+ years of professional experience in corporate, industrial, or contract securityPreferred Experience:Security background in manufacturing, logistics, or data center environmentsExperience working with or managing third-party security vendorsPrior law enforcement, military, or intelligence experience is a plusExperience supporting crisis management or emergency response programsRequired Skills & CompetenciesWorking knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring)Strong investigative and incident response capabilitiesSolid understanding of regulatory and compliance standards related to corporate securityAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organizationProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsSound judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team@ HYVE Solutions, we believe employees are our greatest asset and we empower them to make a difference in our business.
