Job Description

Scanning & Indexing Clerk

Duration: 6 months with possible extension Schedule: M-F 7:30 to 4 or 8-4:30/ 40 Hours per week

• Scan high volumes of documents accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Review documents for completeness, legibility, and quality prior to scanning to ensure accurate record retention.
• Index and classify scanned documents using established naming conventions and filing procedures.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail to ensure documents are properly categorized and easily retrievable.
• Meet daily productivity and quality targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Identify and resolve document discrepancies, missing information, or scanning errors in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with team members to manage workflow priorities and support operational deadlines.
• Handle confidential company information in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Organize, prepare, and track physical documents throughout the scanning and indexing process.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability while supporting changing business needs and process improvements.
• Mail required documents to vendors for payment support.

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn scanning and document management systems.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Lifting boxes for storage as needed
